What shocked me the most is that it does an exceptionally good job of dampening the vibration. My dad was happily riding his senior mobility scooter this afternoon when suddenly a shallow pothole the size of a plate came up on him and my dad crushed over it without having time to dodge. But to my surprise my dad said he didn't feel much of a bump. It was really great.
